Hot Lunch

The Hot Lunch program is a Middle School student-run and -managed business. The program is part of the Middle School curriculum and is one of several economics groups available to students. Seventh- and eighth-graders are responsible for creating a bimonthly menu, delivering menus and calendars to classrooms, organizing incoming order forms and performing accounting procedures to ensure accuracy. These experiences give students the opportunity to practice patience, solve problems, work with others, and gain a sense of responsibility.
